DROPT

Terms of service

Last updated 18 September 2026

These terms apply to the DROPT creator app, brand console and website, provided under the name DROPT ("DROPT", "we", "us"). Contact us at hello@droptapp.com. By using DROPT, you agree to these terms and the specific conditions shown for an activity you choose to join.

Access and accounts

DROPT currently operates with reviewed applications and restricted testing access. Applying does not guarantee approval or access to every feature. You must be at least 18, provide accurate information and meet any location or eligibility requirements stated for an opportunity. If you act for a brand, you must be authorised to do so.

Keep your account secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. Do not impersonate others, submit content you have no right to use, manipulate engagement, misuse personal information, or interfere with the service.

Connected social accounts

Only connect accounts you control. Authorisation lets DROPT read the profile and video information described in our privacy notice, within the permissions you grant. You can disconnect at any time; this removes the imported content library and account growth history. Ownership verification and metric tracking may then stop, which can affect campaign eligibility or settlement under the campaign rules.

TikTok and Instagram operate independently of DROPT. Their own terms apply. Metrics can change or be delayed, and availability of their APIs is outside our control. DROPT does not promise uninterrupted tracking or a particular level of views or engagement.

Campaigns, gifts and experiences

Read the brief, eligibility, deadlines, prize conditions and posting requirements before participating. Submit accurate post links and follow advertising-disclosure requirements and the relevant platform rules. You are responsible for clearly identifying advertising or gifted relationships where required.

Prizes and rankings depend on the campaign's rules, verified activity and review of eligible entries. Participation alone does not guarantee payment. Fraudulent, ineligible or non-compliant entries may be excluded. Contact us if you believe a metric, ranking or decision is wrong; we will review the issue using the available records.

Brands are responsible for the accuracy of their briefs, products and fulfilment commitments. Creators are responsible for the commitments they accept. Any cancellation or non-delivery should be reported promptly so the team can review the applicable arrangement.

Content and marketplace agreements

You keep ownership of your original content. You permit DROPT to process and display content you submit as needed to operate the feature, report the relevant activity and share it with the intended participants. This is not a transfer of copyright.

Licensing, wider promotional use, deliverables, revision limits and payment terms must be agreed in the relevant offer or brief. Do not assume that linking an account or submitting a campaign entry grants unrestricted reuse rights. You must have the rights and permissions needed for the content you provide.

Fees, balances and payments

The applicable price, fee and payment conditions are shown before you accept a paid arrangement. Amounts are in pounds sterling unless expressly stated otherwise. Earnings shown as pending are subject to the applicable review or holding period; they are not yet available for withdrawal.

Withdrawals depend on available earnings, valid payout details and required checks. A DROPT wallet is a record of earnings and transactions, not a bank account. Contact us about failed payments, disputed transactions or refund requests. Refunds and cancellations are considered under the relevant agreement and any rights required by law; these terms do not remove those rights.

Availability and account closure

During testing, features may be limited, changed or temporarily unavailable. We may restrict access to investigate fraud, security issues or breaches of these terms, or where legally required. We will provide an explanation where reasonably possible and permitted.

You can request account deletion as explained on our data deletion page. Closing an account does not automatically cancel an existing licence, resolve an outstanding payment or remove records that must be retained.

Responsibility and changes

We will use reasonable care in providing DROPT. We cannot guarantee third-party services, campaign outcomes or the conduct of every participant. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory statutory rights.

We may update these terms as the service develops. The updated version will appear here, and we will provide additional notice of material changes where appropriate. For support or a complaint, email hello@droptapp.com with enough detail for us to investigate.
